Subaru Impreza WRX STI A-Line

In a bid to make the WRX STI more accessible to customers that prefer not having to exercise their left leg, Subaru has launched the WRX STI A-Line model in Japan featuring a five-speed automatic transmission with SPORTSHIFT

Mated to the existing 221 kW, 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine, the new gearbox features a Downshifting Blipping Control system that matches engine and wheel speeds i.e. the heel-and-toe technique in manual equipped vehicles. Steering wheel mounted paddle shifts is another special feature of this vehicle.

Refinement and comfort has also been enhanced with a pair of 8-way power adjustable front seats plus the addition of a new "Satin White Pearl" body colour.No word yet from Subaru Australia regarding local availability.
