Renault's New Electric Car

The Frankfurt Motor Show is the world's biggest, with 753 exhibitors unveiling their shiniest and brightest and best cars. A few week ago at the show, Renault announced their decision to roll out a series of 4 all-electric cars, with the first one ready for the road in 2011.

Honda FCX fuel-cell 2007

You won’t. California law requires big car makers to offer zero-emission vehicles as part of their line-up, and the hydrogen fuel-cell powered FCX is Honda’s latest. It will hand-build fewer than 100 from 2008 and ‘lease’ them to high-profile or worthy users for a fraction of what it costs to make. So you might not be able to order one, but the real significance of the FCX is that it shows that if we can crack the problems still surrounding hydrogen fuel we’ll be able to drive just like we do now when the oil finally runs out. The FCX does 0-60mph in 10 seconds, 100mph and has a range of over 350 miles. And it’s COOOOOOOL

BMW Z4 CAR OF THE YEAR 2010

It says something that the first-generation BMW Z4 is already off-sale, yet it still looks ahead of its time, and is still fun to drive. The second-generation model, then, has quite an act to follow. CAR has just driven it, in twin turbo 35i trim – a 23i and 30i are also available – and we can report that it’s a very good car, but quite a departure from the model it replaces.

2010 BMW M10

BMW future top models! But you will say why do they still want to develop supercars if people are doing their best to find Eco, Blue and hybrid solutions? Well simple: because supercars is what keep a maker alive, and from the edge of the top models will also benefit the subordinate vehicle series.

And supercar will always have success, no matter how many restrictions there will be! Lets be serious now, if you had the money what would you buy: a Prius or an Enzo (or any other combination you prefer)?

Lets take BMW for example, they have already trademark the "M10" name for a future supercar that is supposed to be a replacement for the legendary BMW M1, built between 1978 and 1981.

The M1’s successor will be powered by a ten-cylinder twin turbo-charged engine and will feature direct fuel injection. The performance target: 625 hp and a top speed of 400 km/h!

BMW will also offer an entry-level version that will be powered by twin turbo a 4.4 liter V8 engine that delivers 450 hp.

The M1’s successor will debut in the next 24-36 months and will be priced between 150.000-300.000 euro depending on the engine.

Well as it happens very little, but what we did notice driving the long straights of Queensland’s channel country was the staggering number of Pajeros manned by grey nomads towing caravans.

So when it just so happened that my need for a tow vehicle coincided with our booking of a Pajero VRX DI-D last week it wasn’t hard to see how I put two and two together

Toyota highlander 2010

The Toyota highlander was redesigned in 2008. The current 2008 Highlander was bit larger than its predecessor models. This model was also equipped with powerful V6 engine along with an updated styling. The fuel economy of Highlander model was increased in its 2008 model.

The current Toyota highlander model is offered with a seven passenger seating capacity. There is also a seat suitable for the children. The Highlander model is offered in three types of trim levels- Limited, base as well as Sport.

2010 FORD Taurus SHO

The Taurus was a great all-around car, and it makes sense that Ford will try and recapture that success with what looks like a really slick design for 2010. I have to admit that I’ve not looked twice at any of the recent vehicles to come from the Big 3 but when I saw this I was really impressed.

The car even has a decent interior design, another typical disappointment I’ve seen from the domestic car companies. Lately they’ve been doing too much of the oval, round and goofy looking center console area

2011 Audi A8

According to Audi's chairman, Rupert Stadler, that's about to change soon.  Speaking at the 120th annual meeting of Audi AG, he revealed that the 2011 Audi A8 will go on sale in the U.S. as early as the fall of 2010.
The last full redesign for the A8 was in 2003, and since then it has received only minor facelifts.  In the meantime, we've seen the new Mercedes S-class, BMW 7-Series and Lexus LS all debut with substantial upgrades, and the A8 is beginning to show its age.

Honda Accord 2010

2011 BMW 6 Series Coupe

The new generation model will receive the same range of engines. 4.8-liter 380-strong eight-engine can replace 4.4-liter unit with dual supercharged V8, which has already been put on the new BMW 7-Series and x6.

Version M instead of the huge 500-strong lightly equipped V10 555-strong 4,4-liter “Eight” of the X5 and x6 M M. The new car appears in 2011.

911 Carrera Cup Car

This Porsche 911 GT3 Carrera Cup racing car was on the Porsche stand at the Geneva Motorshow back in 2006 promoting the Porsche brand but also to help promote the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland racing series.

2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage

Luxury sports car maker, Aston Martin, has unveiled the 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage ahead of its international debut at the Geneva Motor Show and it has already laid claim to be the marque's fastest and most agile production vehicle ever.

Based on the original V12 Vantage concept unveiled at the opening of the Aston Martin Design Studio in December 2007, the updated V12 Vantage features a 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 380 kW and 570 Nm of torque with a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph) and a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 4.2 seconds.

Subaru Impreza WRX STI A-Line

In a bid to make the WRX STI more accessible to customers that prefer not having to exercise their left leg, Subaru has launched the WRX STI A-Line model in Japan featuring a five-speed automatic transmission with SPORTSHIFT

Mated to the existing 221 kW, 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine, the new gearbox features a Downshifting Blipping Control system that matches engine and wheel speeds i.e. the heel-and-toe technique in manual equipped vehicles. Steering wheel mounted paddle shifts is another special feature of this vehicle.

Refinement and comfort has also been enhanced with a pair of 8-way power adjustable front seats plus the addition of a new "Satin White Pearl" body colour.No word yet from Subaru Australia regarding local availability.

BMW Series 3 Coupe and Convertible 2011

The 2011 3 Series Coupe and Convertible include outstanding style updates for 328i and 335i models and a new engine for 335i models. The 2011 3 Series Coupe and Convertible models will go on sale in Spring 2010, and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.

2010 Koenigsegg CCXR Platinuss E100

Next to the 2010 Agera, Koenigsegg also revealed a new special edition at the Geneva Motor Show. Limited to only one unit and built for a wealthy customer in Brazil, the CCXR Platinuss E100 (named after a Brazilian dealership) had to be customized so it could use bio-ethanol.

But despite the modifications the CCXR Platinuss E100 still develops 1018 hp. The customer also wanted a larger front splitter and the color has been custom painted.

LAND CRUISER 2010

Toyota has announced official pricing on the 2010 redesigned Land Cruiser Prado model in the British market. For the time being the car is only offered as a 5-door model and 5 or 7 seats configuration available in three trim levels: LC3, LC4 and LC5, equipped with a revised 171bhp 3.0-liter D-4D engine and a five-speed automatic transmission, starting from £29,795 going up to £44,795.

2010 COOL Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic

We’re okay with that, because while the GLK might not keep up with a Jeep Wrangler on the soft stuff, it will be far more pleasant to live with during the work week. Heated leather seats, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, and a superb stereo will make the office commute and jaunts to the mall and supermarket more than bearable. The fully adjustable seats keep your backside happy on long drives, and the COMAND infotainment system is easy to learn and provides quick access to stereo, phone, and navigation. While the COMAND control knob operates much like BMW’s iDrive, the system is more user-friendly. Unfortunately, Mercedes has placed the knob at an odd angle behind the gear select lever, requiring an uncomfortable reach. Moving it just an inch farther forward, away from the edge of the armrest, would help immensely.

This car has the main feature of a coke bottle and had its bumpers right into the designs of the front end and the rear that was inspired from the Pontiac GTO. Pontiac wanted at first to produce a two seat sports car from its own design based on the first original concept car, Banshee and General Motors feared that such a car will give a hard competition to Chevrolet Corvette so they decided to give the Pontiac a piece of the pony car out on the market and have a shared F body platform with its cousin, the Corvette. Because of this disappointing decision Pontiac wanted to remake the model with its own design and engineering.

As we both know, 2010 Mercedes E Class that has been unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show will hit the showrooms from March 2009. Now the company has released the announcement about the price list of 2010 Mercedes E Class for the European market.

2010 Mercedes E Class price will starts at 41,590.50 Euros for the E220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The most expensive one, Mercedes E500 model with the 7-speed automatic transmission will be priced 67,532.50 Euros.

However, anyone who want the AMG Sports package, the price will be raised between 2,915 Euros and 4,046 Euros.

Toyota Mark X

I am 100% sure that u will like this car.The Japanese automaker Toyota has just launched an all new rear wheel drive luxury sedan for its home market called the Mark X. Built on the same platform as the Lexus GS, the new four door is powered by a choice of two engines, the first being a 2.5 Liter V6 that delivers a maximum output of 203 HP and is 15% more efficient than government regulations require as well as a powerful 3.5 Liter V6 that puts down a total of 318 HP. No matter which power plant you choose, both engines can be mated to Toyota’s gas sipping ECT six speed automatic transmission complete with sporty paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. The Mark X is good for a 0 to 60 MPH sprint of about 8.3 seconds and will return an average of 49.2 MPG.
